Texas Fiber Works was built on more than an idea—it was built on over a decade of working side by side in the fiber-optic industry.

Founders Tron Walters and Andrew Kniveton have spent the last 10 years working together in the field, building their experience through real-world fiber projects where precision, reliability, and attention to detail matter. Along the way, they developed not only their technical skills, but a trusted partnership and a shared belief in doing the job right the first time.

After years of splicing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring fiber networks, Tron and Andrew decided it was time to take their experience and build something of their own. In 2026, Texas Fiber Works was born.

We specialize in fiber-optic splicing, OTDR testing, troubleshooting, fault locating, termination, repair, and restoration for data centers, wind and renewable energy projects, substations, industrial facilities, and other critical fiber infrastructure.

We understand the challenges that come with working in the field—from tight schedules and difficult faults to outages and demanding project specifications. Our goal is simple: work safely, communicate clearly, deliver quality results, and stand behind our work.
